Paula Judith Andrus was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 27, 1954 to Elaine and the late William Madonick.
She attended Northeast High School in Philadelphia, PA and she graduated with honors. She was active in the high school band and was a wonderful music instructor. She was proficient in many instruments especially guitar, clarinet and piano. She worked for 8 years as a book keeper and office manager for Johnathan Stowaway in Newark, DE from 1991 until 1998. She had a genuine love for music and also helping people in need. She wrote several songs and was a wonderful singer as well. She always dreamed of starting a band and having her music published.
Paula is survived by her mother, Elaine Madonick; sisters Denise Shaw, Tracey Derman; brother, Dr. Harvey Madonick; children, Michael, Joey, and Randy Krieger, and Barry Seichepine; and loving husband, Donald Andrus who she referred to as her high school sweetheart, Lewis.
Her and Lewis were both retired and resided in the town of Smyrna, DE. She was also the proud grandmother of Savannah Krieger. She was a wonderful mother, sweet grandmother, and loving wife. She indeed was special to all of us and left a void behind in all of our lives. We love you mom, you will be missed. She passed away suddenly May 5, 2015 at 11:30 p.m.
Services for Paula were held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921 with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial was at Dale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wilmington, DE on May 19, 2015 following Paula’s service.
