Patrick Ryan Catts, age 38 of Elkton, MD passed away on April 13, 2026. He was born on August 9, 1987 in Wilmington, DE to the late Timothy James Catts and Amy Louise (Powell) Catts.

Those who knew Pat, knew that he was an avid sports fan. Some may even say watching sports was his profession. His favorite teams were Penn State and any Philadelphia team. The light of Pat’s life was his niece and nephews. He was happiest when he was with them. Pat will be remembered as a loving, caring, generous person who had an easy-going nature.

Pat is survived by his sister, Miranda Hornish and her husband, Terry; nephews and niece: Scott, Gabriella, and Nathan Hornish; and his cousin, Vinnie Powell.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. To honor Pat’s love of sports, the family has asked that you wear your favorite sports jersey for his service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Eagles Charitable Foundation” and sent in care of the funeral home.
