Patricia Ann Carpenter of Elkton, MD, age 75, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020. Patricia was born on August 11, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Art Case and Annabelle Case.
Patricia worked at Union Hospital for 50+ years as an ICU nurse. She will be lovingly remembered as a smart, strong and loyal person. Patricia loved doing whatever she could for her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and shopping for clothes and spending time gardening both vegetables and flowers. Her favorites were daffodils and in her vegetable garden, zucchini and tomatoes.
Patricia is survived by her son, Jack Carpenter and is his wife, Janet of Bethlehem, PA; daughter, Susan Carpenter of Elkton, MD; 6 grandchildren: Hunter, Jacob, Noah, Joshua, Ryan and Jackson; brother, Paul Case and his wife, Mary; brother, Tom Case. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James H. Carpenter III.
Burial services for Patricia will be held privately at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park in Elkton, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “Breast Cancer Research Foundation” and can be sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
