Omoruyi Aghahowa Obazee, also known as T.J and T.K, age, 36 of Newark, DE passed away on February 18, 2019. He was born on March 13, 1982 in Atlanta, GA to Tunde Aghahowa Obazee and Olubunmi Ajagun.
Omoruyi graduated from James Bowie High School in Arlington, TX in 2002. He then attended Delaware Technical Community College in Wilmington, DE for two years. Omoruyi worked as an IT Professional and was the co-owner of Obazee Tech Company. He produced national talk shows and his most notable was “Point Blank” which aired on 1360 AM KNMY in Dallas, TX. Omoruyi and his father, Tunde worked together and built a radio station in Barnum, TX. He was also involved in working at the Rehoboth Delaware Jazz Festival where he built stage productions. He also worked for Capital One, Cigna, Geek Squad, Best Buy and Circuit City as an IT professional.
Omoruyi is survived by his father, Tunde Obazee of Culver City, CA; mother, Olubunmi Ajagun of Newark, DE; other mother, Kelli Obazee of Culver City CA; brother: Osasuyi Obazee of Los Angeles, CA, Don Jones NC and sisters: Idia Akugbe Obazee of Culver City, CA and Valinteen Hatchett of Fort worth, TX.
A celebration of Omoruyi’s life will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc. 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery.
