I first met Neil in Apr. 74 when I came to the Newark
plant to assume the H. R. function. The number of employees at the plant was small (75 - 85) and over time I was able to meet with each and every one of them. Neil was one of the first that I met. After a short
exchange of pleasantries, Neil (who was a Jr. Pkg.
Engineer) launched into a lengthy and detailed
technical explanation he was working on at the time.
He started losing me about two minutes into the
explanation but I let him go on. I concluded from that experience that he was proud of his technical know how and wanted me to know that he "knew
his stuff". Over the years we (and our wives) got to
know each other very well and became lifelong friends. I'll always remember Neil as a guy who was continually in a good mood. He had an
inexhaustible supply of jokes and quips for every
possible occasion and he always tried to make the other person feel comfortable in his presence.
Janet and I will always recall those fantastic New
Year's Eve parties they used to host. We ate too
much but the food was sooooo good. You did well on earth Good Buddy and will be missed by everyone who knew you.

For nearly 40 years, Neil played cards with me and several other good buddies once every month. We will greatly miss his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness, and his storytelling. God bless you, Neil! Heaven has received a wonderful singer and a first-class gentleman.

May I extend my condolences to Dottie and the Keihm family. I knew Neil through nearly 40 years of playing friendly games of poker on a monthly basis. His presence and great sense of humor made life happier for his buddies at the table. He will be dearly missed. It is,indeed, an honor to call Neil Keihm a friend.
Rest In Peace old friend.

I first met Neil in 1979 when I started to work at the Stuart Pharmaceuticals Plant in Newark Delaware. I was in manufacturing and Neil worked at the Pilot Plant. Over the years I came to know Neil well and always found him to be a one of the truly "good guys". Always the gentleman, always the professional, always the team player, easy to work with and fun to be around. Neil was a friend to many people at the Newark Plant and he will be miss by all that knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Neil's family. RIP my friend RIP.

Neil and I made friends at Harmony College in Missouri, and each year, for many years, we would sing together in a quartet with two other parts we would find. We had many good times together, and I will surely miss him. He was a good Friend Bob Cochrane, Florida

Many happy memories enjoying Lobster fest in Rhode Island. Uncle Neil always brought laughter, and fun with him. This was a special year in 2014, when we invited a quartet. Uncle Neil so enjoyed singing with them after they completed their set. Will never forget these family gatherings and how special it was to be all together. We will miss you Uncle Neil! We will take good care of Aunt Dottie!

Neil was a dear, trusted friend from all the way back to the 1960s when we both sang with the Wilmington, DE chapter. I brought Neil into the Chapter Counselor program, where he did an outstanding job for all the chapters he represented. A true friend, DELA brother, and a gentleman. Our prayers are with Dottie and the family.

Neil was a great barbershop friend whom I had the pleasure of singing in a quartet (On The Way Out) with. He was a Barbershopper's Barbershopper. He and his lovely wife Dottie were always welcoming in their home and always fun and interesting to be around. His passing saddens me. May Dottie be blessed with the knowledge that Neil was much loved and he is now pain free and living with the Lord above.
John Celani left a message on July 18, 2018:
Neil was a wonderful gentleman. We, at the Cherry Hill Pine Barons Chorus, admired his dedication to barbershop music and the success of our chorus.
He came often to visit us, helped us with officer installation, and as a former treaurer, gave me excellent advice in dealing with the district. We will miss him as our advisor. RIP.
