Evelyn Marie McLuckie, age 84 of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. She was born on December 17,1936 to the late Elbert Bryson Wiley and Gracie Mae Wiley (King).
Evelyn was a homemaker who always put her family first. She took great joy in bowling, walking, shopping, and visiting Ocean City, MD. In her younger years, her favorite hobby was roller skating. Evelyn loved hosting BBQ’s, in which she was known for her famous baked beans and fudge. She will always be remembered for being kind hearted and sweet.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Bonny Lou Bowles; three grandchildren: Amanda Sexton, Justin Blevins, and William Sexton, Jr; two great-granddaughters: Tiffany Ivey and Miranda Hickman; two brothers: Larry Wiley and Walter Wiley.
In addition to her parents Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Edward McLuckie; daughter, Connie Lynn Andrews; grandson, Travis Anderson; two brothers: Duane Wiley and Baby boy Wiley; and sister, Vonda Freimiller.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens.
