Dale E. Irwin Sr, age 70, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025. Dale was born in Pennsylvania to the late David and Vernetta Irwin.
Dale was a family-oriented man who worked his whole life to provide. He was very passionate in his career as an auto-body mechanic; working for Harrington’s Body Shop and Mike Montgomery’s Auto Services for many years. It was through this profession that Dale found his love for anything with a motor, a trait he passed down to many members of his family. If it was a nice sunny day and he wasn’t working, Dale was bound to be on his beloved Harley Davidson where he spent countless hours of his time. And, if it wasn’t nice enough to be out on the road you could find Dale playing one of the many Xbox games he had mastered over the years.
Through years of health issues Dale remained his same joyful self, never letting his circumstances get him down. He will always be remembered as the funny, passionate, caring, and ambitious person he was.
In addition to his parents, Dale joins his two brothers, as well as his granddaughters, Faith Irwin-Green and Kylah Wilgis in heaven.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Irwin; children, Kathy Andrews, Dale Irwin Jr, Michael Irwin, and Amanda Racine; grandchildren, Jason Racine, Kent Irwin, Angel Irwin, Aubrey Racine, Destiny Green, and Cheyenne Morgan; and his great grandchild Adaline Racine; as well as many other deeply beloved children and grandchildren who he considered his own.
A celebration of life will be held on April 26th at a family’s residence. More information will be available through his grandson Jason Racine Jr. as time progresses.
