Martha Lou Saylor, age 79 of Landenberg, PA passed away on May 2, 2019. She was born on September 4, 1939 in Beavertown, PA to the late George Etzler and Margaret (Gilbert) Etzler.

Martha graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Nursing School in 1960 and worked as a Registered Nurse for over forty years. Martha loved traveling with her husband, Michael and her family. They would frequently take trips over seas and went on a number of cruises. She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid reader.

Martha is survived by her husband of 57 years, Michael H. Saylor of Landenberg, PA; daughter, Michele McCleary and her husband, Michael of Lincoln University, PA; son, Shane Saylor and his wife, Melody of Salisbury, MD; five grandchildren: Ivy, Evan, Ella, Ian, and Rylee; brother, Jim Etzler; and sisters: Arla Ritter and Betty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Etzler and sister, Georgiana.

Services for Martha will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to, “JDRF”, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
