Marshall Ray “SingLee” Lyle, or “Sing”, 64, of Elkton, Maryland, where he was born, on December 7, 1958, to Walter “Mike” Lyle Sr. and Daisy Rebecca (Brown) Lyle. Sing reunited with his parents on January 28, 2023.
Sing was an Elkton High School graduate. Shortly after high school he started working at Chrysler, in Newark Delaware for 30 plus years until he retired. During his younger years Sing was mentored, learning how to repair motorcycles, which quickly became one of his many passions. Sing also worked in maintenance until he was called home.
Sing loved his family and friends; he was known as “the best man ever” by many. Sing loved drag racing, fishing, crabbing, working on cars/bikes and football. If you ever needed to find him, he was either somewhere working on something with his tools or he was trying his luck at Delaware Park.
In 1982, Sing married Marcella (Hubbard) Lyle. And from this union he was blessed with two children, Shawn Lyle and Kimberly Lyle. 20 years later, he was blessed again with his Granddaughter Kiana Aberdeen.
He is also survived by three Sisters: Josephine “Josie” Cassidy, Evelyn “Tiny” Webster, and Patricia Jackson. Two brothers: Frederick Lyle (Veronica) and Jerry Lyle (Lucretia), a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, a special friend Violet Jennings II and many friends.
In addition to his parents, SingLee was preceded in death by his brothers: Walter “JuneBug” Lyle Jr., Willie Lyle; sister: Irma Barnett; brothers-in-law, many nephews, great nephews, and a special friend Melissa Thomas.
A service of love for Sing will start at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Visitation for family and friends begins at 11:00 AM. A repass will be held at 2:00 PM at Union Hall located at 698 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE 19702. The burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
