Margaret Ludwig Fritze, age 98 of Newark, DE passed away on July 8, 2022. She was born on May 14, 1924, in Titusville, PA to the late Howard E. Ludwig and Cora (Sherwood) Ludwig.
Margaret retired from the VA Hospital in Elsmere, DE as a Registered Nurse after many years. She loved flowers and spent a lot of time tending to her flower beds. When her sister, Martha was still living, they enjoyed travelling together and took many trips including Germany and Alaska. Throughout the years, she made many visits to Oklahoma to visit her family.
Margaret is survived by her nephew, John “Mickey” Malloy and his wife, Judy; two great nieces; three great nephews; three great-great nieces; and three great-great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hilman A.L. (Hal) Fritze and sister, Martha Malloy.
Services for Margaret will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to, “American Cancer Society” and sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
