Luis Alberto Diaz Granados

Luis Alberto Diaz Granados, age 58, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

He was born October 3, 1956, in the Panama Canal Zone, to Lianna Gonzales Diaz Granados and the late Harmondo Diaz Granados.

Luis worked in the hospitality industry as a hotel manager for Marriott. With them, he successfully managed hotels for 26 years all over the world. He loved nature, and the outdoors, and enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. Known as an “Old School Gentleman”, Luis was a giver, who loved his children, and “always said he loved his wife”, all who will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Mota Diaz Granados; sons, Christian Diaz Granados and wife Linda, of Boston, MA, and James Diaz Granados and his wife Vanessa, of Columbia, MD; mother, Lianna Diaz Granados, of TX; brother, Harmondo Diaz Granados and wife Lydia, of TX; sisters, Nizda Miller and husband Ron, of England, and Marissa Diaz Granados of New York, NY; and a grandchild Nadia.

He is predeceased by his father, Harmondo Diaz Granados.
