Lonnie Edward Steuernagle, 53 passed away on November 9, 2022 at his home. Lonnie was born on January 16, 1969 in Baltimore Maryland. Lonnie was the son of Mary Steuernagle of North East and the late Donald Steuernagle Sr. Lonnie is survived by two sisters Mary Mayberry and her husband John of Alton Virginia, Susan Reasons and her husband Bobby of North East. Two brothers David Steuernagle his wife Karen of North East, Scott Steuernagle his wife Candace of New Freedom Pennsylvania. Lonnie was preceded in death by his older brother Donald Steuernagle Jr. of Alton Virginia. Lonnie is survived by loving Nieces and Nephews, Justin, Kyle, David, Daniel, Kurtis, Sarah, Nicolas, Mason, Olivia, Ethan and Shaylee. Lonnie enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

A sudden passing of a loving uncle I knew my entire life. All the childhood memories of watching zombie movies together and playing video games will stay with me for eternity. Lonnie never failed to make the room laugh when he was around. He always referred to me as his “rocker girl”, and I will always be that. Love and miss you unka nonnie, you’re reunited with pop.

I am so sorry to hear about Lonnie’s passing. He was my student at Deep Creek Elementary and we had reconnected on Facebook. I loved to talk to him about life and all the moves he was making to try to bring change to his life. He sent me funny (punny) jokes on Messenger all the time. He particularly shared jokes about English grammar and common mistakes. I will miss him, It breaks my heart that he was so young with so much possibility.
