Lloyd “Danny” Reeves, Jr., 55, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully Monday, January 18, 2016 after his courageous battle with cancer.
Danny was born January 18, 1961 in Elkton, MD. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles; which he often entered into bike shows. He enjoyed watching Old Western movies and Law and Order, gardening, going to turkey shoots and running heavy equipment. There wasn’t anything that he couldn’t do once he put his mind to it. He worked at Eastern States Construction Service in Newport, DE for 21 years until his illness.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Gail Reeves; son, Steven Reeves and Lindsey; father, Lloyd D. Reeves, Sr.; brother, James Reeves and wife, Sue; brother-in-law Albert Casner, Jr.; sisters-in-law Lisa Phelps, Darlene Casner, and Dianne Cebula and her husband, Wayne; his best friend Ed Miller; and his Yorkshire Terrier, Harley whom he adored.
Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine (Hamby) Reeves; sister, Treva Jean Byers; maternal grandparents, Roxie and James Hamby and paternal grandparents, Wiley and Victoria Reeves.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Thursday, January 21, 2016 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St. Rising Sun, MD. 21911. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 22, 2016, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
