Karl D. Rodgers, 41, of North East, MD, passed away unexpectedly at his home May 5, 2015.
Karl was born in Stratford, NJ on January 14, 1974 and was a 1992 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, PA, attended Delaware Technical College and received his certification in HVAC. He worked in HVAC and maintenance for various property management companies. Karl enjoyed boating and camping, was an avid reader and a Baltimore Ravens fan. He will be remembered for his love of entertaining and the many cookouts with family and friends, and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; his son, Sr. Airman Cody Bowman, stationed in Germany, and his wife Lindsey; his brother William Rodgers, IV; his father William Rodgers and his wife Eunice; and nephews Nicholas and Jonathan Gobble. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Mae Perry Rodgers.
A service honoring his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 9, 2015 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contribution checks may be made payable to Tammy Rodgers and mailed to the funeral home.
