Joseph Raymond Guay, age 72 passed away on July 4, 2016. He was born on January 26, 1944 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Joseph R. Guay, Sr. and Leona (Viens) Guay.

Joseph was a member of the American Legion Post 135 of Perryville, MD. He was employed as a route salesman in the food snack industry in Massachusetts. From 1996 to present day, he was an auction manager for American Auctioning and Appraisers in Westminster, MD.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Aline Guay of Port Deposit, MD; son, Kevin Guay of Norton, MA; daughter, Kimberly Guay of Port Deposit, MD; six grandchildren: Tiffany Cordeiro, Kyle Cordeiro, Jeromy Cordeiro, Kendra Donovan, Chase Mercier, and April Dumont; and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Donovan.

A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11:00AM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A visitation will be held one hour prior where family and friends are welcomed to attend.
