John A. “Dig” Krauss, 71, of Newark, DE, passed away on August 23, 2016. Born on December 12, 1944 in Nottingham, PA, he was the son of the late Howard E. and Doris M. (Fuller) Krauss.

John was a U.S. Army veteran. After being discharged, he worked at the Newark, DE Chrysler site transporting worker and finished vehicles. John also worked as a carpenter, doing everything from framing to finish. He loved working with wood and creating artistic pieces for family and friends. John will always be remembered for generosity – he was always there to lend a helping hand to someone in need without being asked to do so.

John is survived by his daughter, Andrea English.

Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10am.
