The best mechanic I ever knew. John was the only one back in the day who was allowed to work on the county emergency vehicles at County Roads. John always looked out for all of us first responders. Thank you John for your hard work and dedication. You became an honorary member of the Sherrif's Office back in the day by sentiment because you were so dedicated to giving us the best vehicles we could have to do our jobs. God Bless and God Rest. Well done Sir.

Yed. You were one of a kind. Your dedication to your community, and to the youth of this town will never be forgotten. You were a father first. But to many, though not blood, they were still your kids. You are the perfect example of what a Dad should be. Thank you for dedicating your life to such meaningful impacts. Until we meet again, brother.

I am so sorry that we lost John. I loved him dearly. I worked with John at the Cecil County Stormwater Division for over 13 years. Every time I started to feel down about the loss of John, I remember all of the laughs we had together. If you were in John's presence for more than 5 minutes and you weren't laughing, you weren't around Yed. He always found a way to pick people up who felt down. I am glad I gave him a hug the last time I saw him. Rest in peace my friend. Thank you for your service and dedication to the citizens of Cecil County.
