Joanne W. Rhodes age 79, of Silver Springs, Fl passed away on Saturday January 7th, 2023. She

was born June 3, 1943, in Oxford, PA to the late William & Bessie Albright.

Joanne loved to garden, she had a green thumb and could make anything grow. She loved to

crochet, making blankets and scarves for family and friends and for children which she donated

to support organizations. Joanne was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great

grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, and she will be dearly missed.

Joanne is survived by her husband Jerry Rhodes of Silver Springs, FL; sons Larry (Lisa) Albright

of Wilmington, DE, Garry (Karen) Albright of Newark, DE; daughters Jennifer Stoops of Rising

Sun, MD; Jewell (George) Hess of Clayton, DE; Joyce (Mark) Blevins of Cecilton, Md; Judith

(Edward) Light of Clayton, DE; Stepsons Jack Stoops of Newark, DE; Roger Stoops of Rehoboth

Beach, DE; Shawn Rhodes of Silver Springs, FL; Stepdaughters Kimberly Rhodes of Ocala, FL;

Laura Tapperson of Ocala, FL

Grandchildren: Lynn Albright; Roger Stoops, Jessica Wilson, Kevin Delancey, Samantha Blevins,

Gregory Albright, Erica Jones, Jentina Maltman, Harleigh Decker, Wyatt Decker and various step

grandchildren

Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Robert, Serenity, Lily, Damien, Cameron, Roy, Mia, Abigail, Jaxon,

Connor, Bailey, Ada, Zachary, Riley

In addition to her parents, Joanne is preceded in death by her grandson Stephen Albright,

Stepson Gordon Stoops, Stepdaughter Sharon Rhodes

Graveside services will be held June 3, 2023, at Sharps Cemetery in Fair Hill, MD. A celebration

of life gathering immediately following the service location to be announced later
