Jesse M. Foster, Jr. age 57 of Conowingo, MD, passed away after a long-term illness while surrounded by his loving family on August 5, 2016. He was born on November 7, 1958 in Elkton, MD to Jesse M. Foster, Sr. and the late, Vaudeline C. (Perdue) Foster.

Jesse was the Pastor of Fellowship of Faith Church in Kirkwood, PA for ten years. He founded and facilitated The Exchange Youth Ministry of Oxford, PA and later a branch in Rising Sun, MD. Additionally, Jesse was the owner and operator of Tristate Petroleum Services. He was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles. Jesse was a hardworking man who cherished his family and his faith.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marie Foster; son, Shane Foster and his wife, Christine; three grandchildren: Samantha, Coby, and Emily Foster; three sisters: Karen Smith, Vanessa Cole, and Maxine Donell; and father, Jesse M. Foster, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Foster; mother, Christine Foster, brother, Ron Simmons, and sister, Thea Swift.

A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on, Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 12 noon at Christ Community Fellowship, 356 Chatham Road, West Grove, PA 19390. A visitation will be held two hours prior beginning at 10:00 AM where family and friends are welcome to attend. Burial will follow the service at Christ Community Fellowship Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made payable to, “Rising Sun Lions Club” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911.

So sorry to hear of Jesses passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Shane and family! Dottie and Jack Fritts

I have a lot of memories and will always cherish them. I wish I had had a chance to see him again. I am proud to call him cousin and proud of all he accomplished in his time. My prayers are with you all. Debbie (Perdue) Vegter

When we were young, I knew him as "Marvin." We went to church together and our families became close as did Marvin and I. Although the years and hundreds of miles separated us for decades. I sorrowed for him during his sickness. I may urn with his precious family for their loss but I also rejoice with my Brother for winning his reward in Jesus.

I haven't seen Jesse for many years, but I remember him as a kind and compassionate fellow.Thinking back, I am not surprised to learn that he became a pastor and shared the love of Christ through ministry and youth outreach programs.

So thankful to have known Jessie he was a great blessing to me! My brother in Christ love brother jack Potter

Our prayers are with you. Jesse was a true gentleman of God. Is reward is great in Heaven.

Jesse was and still is an AMAZING man of God! I am truly sorry for the loss of this precious man. He will be missed dearly! The flesh may hurt but the Spirit will be rejoicing!
