Jeffrey Neal Younce, age 59, of Port Deposit, Maryland, passed away on April 9, 2026. Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, on July 23, 1966, he was the beloved son of Bobbie Younce and the late Jack Younce.
Jeff was a dedicated and hardworking employee with Holman Logistics in Perryville, Maryland, where he worked in warehouse operations. Known for his strong work ethic and versatility, Jeff could be counted on for anything—from stocking and organizing to expertly operating a forklift. He took great pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues for his reliability and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed.
In his younger years, Jeff enjoyed playing baseball and football in local little leagues, developing a lifelong love of sports. He remained a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, rarely missing a game. Jeff also found great satisfaction in caring for his lawn, which he maintained with pride—often with the help of his two riding mowers. His kindness extended beyond his own yard, as he regularly assisted his neighbor with lawn care, a reflection of his generous and thoughtful nature.
Jeff enjoyed spending time on the golf course, appreciating both the game and the camaraderie it brought. He was also a fan of rock and roll and contemporary music, always finding joy in a good song.
Family meant everything to Jeff. He shared a particularly close and special bond with his Aunt Leta, whom he often described as being like a sister. His love, loyalty, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Younce, and his uncle, Charles O’Neal.
He is survived by his loving mother, Bobbie Younce; his aunts, Leta O’Neal and Elizabeth Bullock (Gerald); his godmother, Frances Ann Gibney; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, Maryland. Family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. A private burial will follow.
