I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. McGarvey was one of my most favorite teachers. I had him for 9th grade Physics (Science) for the 1970-71 school year. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. McGarvey was a very patient teacher, he taught me so very much, that I thought at the time meant nothing that now I use everyday of my life. Thank you Mr. McGarvey for your patience and persistence. To Mr. McGarvey's family my deepest sympathy for your loss. He touched many lives.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember his curly mustache and no chewing gum in his class so I used to push my gum on the top roof of my mouth so he wouldn't catch me. Ha/ha. I disliked science but loved him as a teacher. Class of 82. Rest in peace Mr. McGarvey. Condolences to the family.
