I think of Yank as a quiet man whose waters ran deep. He lived a good life focusing on what was important--loving his family and taking care of them. It's comforting to know that he and Peggy who I loved dearly are together again. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Terry Berg

To one of the most giving person I have ever known, I can still remember when I was a child and sitting on the steps of Aunt/Grandma Marge's row house listening to the stories Peggy and Yank were telling us. It is a great loss that you have left us, but I can only be sad for a little while as you have been longing to be with your soulmate who was taken from you so long ago, enjoy eternity together. I will love you both till the day I die, and will promise to be a better cousin and keep in touch with the beautiful family that you and Peggy created out of the love for each other. P.S. say hello to my mom and dad for me Love Tina and Family

I will always hold this man in my heart ! I spent many summers with him, my Aunt and cousins. I made memories that are still fresh in my mind. My favorite is going to dinner and he decided to have a "pony or 2". Or me driving his truck around the farm when I was just 11 or 12. The love he had in his heart for family was priceless. Love you Uncle Yank ...... you have a crew up there ... We miss you all and will see you again one day !
