James A. Miller of Conowingo, MD passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 following a lengthy illness. Born on May 30, 1947 in Sword Creek, VA to James F. Miller and Lona M. Griffith.
Jim worked at Farm Grove Sewing Factory for many years. He finished his working years at M&N Garment. After he retired, he enjoyed gardening, wrestling, football, and eating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. Miller and Lona M. Breedlove and step-father, Glen Breedlove, also his wife, Debbie.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Linda Ham; four children: Gary (Randi) Miller, Tamara Nixon, Jamie Miller, and Jesse Miller; three grandchildren: Fred, Eric, and Dylan. Jim is an only child to Lona. He had several half brothers and sisters.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, October, 10, 2024 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery.
