So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful person, I was friends with his daughter Cathy since 1994. Miss Cathy so much, but I know she is in a better place and they are together maybe playing some country music.

So sorry to hear about Woody. I was the keyboard player for the Country Classics for 8 great years and I still think about those years often. They were like a second family to me. Rest In Peace buddy and hopefully we will be able to play again one day. Gods peace to Lois and all his family.

Woody took me under his wings when I was just 14 as the drummer in The County Classics. Spent many a Saturday night riding to gigs, that were mostly VFWs, Moose Lodges or small bars, with my drums in the back of the old Ford station wagon he owned. Many great memories. Was so glad to reconnect with him and the family last year.
He will be missed.
My deepest condolences to Lois, Lori and his family.
