In Loving Memory of Eunice Marie Baldwin (1929-2023)
Eunice Marie Baldwin, a beloved resident of Colora, MD, peacefully passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 94. Born in Baltimore, MD, on September 24, 1929, Eunice was the cherished daughter of the late Clyde and Gertrude (nee, Worch) Elliott and the devoted wife of the late Jack Baldwin.
Eunice’s life was a beautiful composition of love, music, and selflessness. An accomplished musician, she enchanted her family and friends with her skillful keyboard performances. Her talent was only surpassed by her prowess in the kitchen, where she crafted hearty meals for her family, featuring the timeless combination of “meat and potatoes” especially corn beef hash.
At the age of 60, Eunice embarked on a new chapter in her life, entering the workforce as the manager of the Mobile Home Park where she resided. For two decades, she skillfully managed the community until her well-deserved retirement at the age of 84. Eunice was not only known for her professional dedication but also for her unwavering generosity towards her family, always ready to offer her time and resources at a moment’s notice.
Among her many roles, Eunice found immense joy in being a devoted grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and delighted in showering them with affection. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eunice is preceded in death by her six siblings: Elsie Pardoe, Doris Egge, Norman Elliott, Sharlene Ferger, Nancy Willie, and Beverly Dworek.
Eunice is survived by her loving daughter, Jacqueline Logan; devoted son, Mark Baldwin; three grandchildren: Jodie Baldwin, Samantha Van Nest, Tammy (Steven) Wineke; and four great-grandchildren: Logan Wineke, Sierra Wineke, Steven Michael Wineke, Kael Van Nest, and Maeve Van Nest.
All services will be held privately per the family’s request.
Eunice Baldwin will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the warmth, love, and music she brought into the lives of those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
