Edwin John Fryman III, 74, passed away March 21, 2025. Edwin was born on June 3, 1950, to the late Edwin Fryman Jr. and Sinah (Drew) Fryman, and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.
Ed attended Gateway High School, and then graduated to Clarion College, where he played and starred in football. He was a devoted Steelers, Eagles, and Phillies fan. After completing his degree, he moved to Chestertown, MD, where he taught for 30 years in Kent County. After his retirement, he became a crabber and fisherman. There were few things he loved more than being out on the water.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife: Kathy; his sister: Donna Grumko (Dale); his brother: Bill Fryman (Diane); his son: Bradley Fryman (Nicky); his grandsons: Bennett and Braden Fryman; his daughter: Kylie Britt (Jessie); his granddaughter: Arcadia Britt; his step-daughters: Kellie, Chrissy, and Tiffani; and his step-grandchildren: Shay, Jeffrey, Jordan, Anthony, Lydia, Owen and Jace.
Services for Ed will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
