Edward “Raz” George Rzasa

Edward George Rzasa, (Raz) age 87, of Rising Sun, MD; formerly of Boothwyn, PA, Mullica Hill, NJ, and Oxford, PA, passed away on December 6, 2022. He was born on December 16, 1934 in Chester, PA to the late George Rzasa and Julia (Gdowik) Rzasa.

Raz graduated from Chester High School in 1953. He worked as a machinist at Southco in Concordville, PA for over thirty years before retiring in 1990. He was a former member of the Ogden Seniors Group and Mullica, NJ Seniors Group. Raz loved to read and play with his dog, Mr. Chip. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories of his past. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Edward is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Lynda (Kasper) Rzasa. He is survived by his four children: Diane Neikam, Darren Rzasa, Donna Amato (Stephen), and Julia Trice (David); four grandchildren: Wesley Neikam, Rebecca Neikam, Darren Rzasa, Jr, and Matthew Rzasa; two great-grandchildren: Denise Rzasa and Elijah Rzasa, and sister, Irene Alkins.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
