I remember when Grandpa came to visit us in Arizona and he said he was going to chop some inches off my hair to cover his "tiny" bald spot. I always loved his amazing sense of humor and how he could lift your spirits with just his smile. I miss you Grandpa.

One Sunday morning back in 1974 or maybe 1975, me and this kid Shawn was working at the White Diamond in Clark. We were sitting on the back ice chess and some lady came in and asked if we had orange soda and we said "nope" then she asked if we had lemonade we said "nope" she turn and left. Ed was watching this go down from the back room. He said that neither one of us showed any effort in that sale!! He told us if we had time to lean we had time to clean!! We had to clean out all the refrigerators. I told Shawn "we should of lied to that lady" I can't tell you how many times in my life I said those same words to my kids and when we owned restaurants. Rest in peace Brother in Law, I love you.
