Edith M. “Sue” Startt (Onizuk) age 82 of Elkton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Elkton, MD on December 20, 1939, to the late Samuel T. and Edith L. (Butler) Onizuk.
Edith worked as a cafeteria manager with the Cecil County Public Schools for 30 years. Edith was an amazing cook and loved cooking for all of her school children.
Edith enjoyed flowers, lady bugs and hummingbirds. Above all, Edith loved spending time with family, grandchildren, and her dogs.
Edith is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William E. Startt; children: Elva J. Warden and Eric M. Startt Sr.; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and brother: Robert Onizuk.
In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her son, Wes Startt; grandson, Eric M. Startt Jr.; sister, Loretta A. Miller and son-in-law, Richard Charles Warden, Sr.
Services will be held privately at convenience of the family.
