David M. Mullins, age 45, of Elkton, MD, passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was born on April 29, 1966 to Amos Mullins and Susan (McClellan) Werneke.
David enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting trap. In his younger years, he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He loved spending time with his wife and children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terra Mullins of Elkton, MD; children, Kayla Mullins of Dover, DE, Makenzie Mullins and Jagger Mullins of Elkton, MD; father, Amos Mullins and his wife, Mary of Elkton, MD; mother, Susan Werneke and her husband, Anthony of Elkton, MD; in-laws, Terry and Gigi Williams of Elkton, MD; sister, Carol Lee of Chesapeake City, MD; brothers, Amos Mullins of Elkton, MD and John Mullins of Chesapeake City, MD; step-brothers, Tony Werneke of Denver, PA and Keith Werneke of Glen Burnie, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Trevlyn and Catherine McClellan.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where friends and family may call one hour prior. Burial will follow at Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mullins Children Memorial Fund, c/o the funeral home.
