Clay Wall “Bo” McInnis, III, 38, of Hockessin, DE died on March 29th, 2016. Born on October 26, 1977 in Wilmington, DE, Clay was the son of the late Clay Wall McInnis, Jr. and the late Judy Bredeson McInnis.
From a young age, Clay was passionate about music. His mother initially taught him the piano keyboard on her accordion. Her musical talents as well as his father’s natural ear for music inspired Clay to take up the saxophone, and in middle and high school, he began playing other instruments, like the guitar and drums. Clay appreciated all genres. In college and after, he cherished the time he spent with friends during their “jam sessions.” While he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and collecting classic VW buses and trucks, music was Clay’s life.
Clay’s friends and family remember him as a smart, kind, and loving person who had a generous spirit. His nieces adored him.
Clay is survived by his siblings Meghan McInnis-Dominguez and Ian McInnis, his brother-in-law Diego Dominguez, Ian’s partner Charlynn Evans and her son Gavin, and his nieces Leila and Violeta Dominguez and Gylliana and Gabrielle McInnis.
A family-coordinated celebration of life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance: http://www.dbsalliance.org.
