Naomi , I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father. I know it has only been a short time since you lost your mom. We were out of town on vacation so I could not attend the service. I wanted to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was very fond of your mom and dad and remember great moments at your house growing up. They are once again reunited. To Charlies Family, Just last week I thought, I hadn't called Charlie in a while, But got busy, now I feel bad. Charlie and Geri were great parents and good friends with me and my late husband Cliff (for over 60 years) They would talk about hunting and fishing while fixing mowers. My daughter Cindy would tell me, when he drove the Church Bus taking the MYF or other times they all looked forward to it, because he was a lot of fun and hit all the bumps and tell stories. God Bless All of You and because I watched you grow up, drop me an email about your families.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear loving family : it is with deep sadness that I have learned of Charlie’s passing. I had a long conversation with him a couple of weeks ago about a Class of 57 reunion. He and I talked at lengthy about a reunion. He also spoke of losing Gerry. High school sweethearts, wow We all. Go back a long ways. but Charlie’s was always the same. He took care of our mowers, etc.for many years. I’ m so glad we got to talk and laugh about days past. Please know we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Marilyn Hammond Spence

A favorite quote: meaning of family : Family means having someone to love you unconditionally in spite of u and your short-comings.. Family is loving and supportive of one another even when hard to do so..it's being the best person you can be so that you may inspire your loved ones.. family doesn't see race, color, creed, or culture...it see s the heart.. you kids, already know this I'm sure, we re truly blessed having two great parents for a great part of your lives.. some of my favorite memories were with my uncle Charles and aunt Gerry...at their house for holidays, cookout s, and w.v..it breaks my heart that I won't have the chance to do our 'date' for a lil get away with him and hopefully one or more of his kids this summer..may u all have the wisdom, strength, and loving hearts to keep the legacy of your parents from the evils of this world and keep ur family unit strong....I know ur hearts are heavy and I hope you know we're here for you if needed and we love you all..I'm so glad to know I will see him and the rest of our family in heaven again one day.. My Dear Uncle Charles, always telling us jokes trying to bend our minds or make us laugh. He was a great Uncle who was always nice to us and I really loved hearing his stories.
