Carolyn B. Harris, age 87, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
Besides being a homemaker, she worked at various jobs throughout her life finally retiring as a school bus matron.
Three sons and their spouses and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a cousin survive her.
Two husbands, a sister and a brother predeceased her.
The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Maryland for the loving care they provided the last month of her life. If desired, a donation may be made to the Seasons Hospice Foundation to honor her memory c/o the funeral home.
Services will be held at 1PM on Monday, June 4th at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Rosebank Cemetery in Calvert, MD.
