Jacob Hammons left a message on March 2, 2021:
I served with Bryan for a number of years in 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. Given our differences in jobs we did not interact much initially, but we still conversed regularly. During and after our deployment we became closer and I had gotten the pleasure of knowing him more and considering him a friend. Bryan was a "hard charger" and no nonsense kind of leader and Marine. It pains me to no end to see a good Marine and a good man go so soon. I will miss him greatly. Semper Fidelis, Sergeant Bartow.
David Brown left a message on March 1, 2021:
I met Bryan when he was a guest in my home for Christmas celebration 2020. He was a perfect gentleman and a pleasure to share Christmas dinner with. It was evident he had a sharp mind complimented by skilled hands possessing a mechanical knowledge of their own in diagnosing a needed repair to my car. He was a pleasure to chat with and I truly felt the warmth of his personality. He will be missed and remembered for his generous helping spirit.
