You seem to be surrounded by some wonderful people who loved you and Brian very much.
You were my first friend and I am truly sorry for loss.

Kathy, We are so very sorry for your loss! Brian will always remain special to all who knew him and those of us who had the honor of calling him a friend. I really got to know Brian back in 1996 when he and I decided that we could do several renovations at my house--he always said..."I can do that--no problem". What started as a small and simple renovation led to moving the kitchen to another part of the house, adding a small family room and building a deck and pool. The project lasted about 6 months and I still laugh thinking about Brian telling Kathy (who was helping and often cold) that the "heat is in the tools--keep hammering", calling me "Dennis the Menace" when I ran out on the deck telling him that it looked really good not realizing the none of the boards were nailed down--wood planks kept flipping up and down and Brian and Kathy just stood back and laughed shaking their heads, the day that he and I were on a ladder cutting down ceiling rafters after I decided to vault the ceiling in the family room---after sawing about 5 of them down Brian very seriously looked at me and said " sure hope the house does not fall down. It's suppose to get really windy tonight! Ya think maybe we should stop and you could call someone to make sure this is structurally ok"! We both stood there for about 5 minutes staring at the mess we just made and I said that probably calling someone was a good idea! Country music was always blaring in the background with Brian often loudly singing along--especially after a break for a Coors Light. I am sure that many of Brian's friends will share stories about Brian over the next few days that will make us laugh. Kathy, we are here for you and are honored to have known Brian and his unique and special sense of humor. His life on earth has ended but his memory will go on for ever. Rest in Peace Bubba.
