Brett Allen Brannock, age 24, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born on December 13, 2000, in Baltimore, MD to Jeremy and Lisa (Leavitt) Brannock.
Brett was a simple, hardworking man whose heart was as open as the fields he loved. Farming wasn’t just a job for him—it was a way of life. He found joy in caring for his cows and took pride in every long day’s work, never asking for much and always giving more than he received.
His kindness was effortless, and his humor came naturally. Brett was a true jokester, able to make others laugh even on the hardest days. He had a love for yodeling that could fill a room with smiles, and Alan Jackson’s music was the soundtrack to many of his happiest moments.
Family meant everything to him. He was a devoted protector to his siblings, Cheyanne, and Christopher, always watching over them with a quiet, steady love. And nothing warmed his heart more than his niece, Violet, who brought him endless joy.
Brett was easy to love—gentle, genuine, and full of life in the simplest, most beautiful ways. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to bring light and laughter to those he leaves behind.
Brett is survived by his parents, Jeremy Edward Brannock and Lisa Marie Brannock; siblings, Cheyanne Brannock (Mark), and Christopher Brannock; niece, Violet Brannock-Strojny; maternal grandmother, Teresa Webster; paternal grandmother, Patty Brannock, and many aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Leavitt; paternal grandfather, Terry Brannock, and paternal grandmother, Mary Brannock.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 3:00PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street Rising Sun, MD 21911.
