You would've been so proud of the Celebration of Life your family held in your memory today. You left your mark in this life by touching hearts and lives of so many. I am a much better person for having known you. It's going to take me a little bit to come to terms with the fact that you are gone. I will cherish my memories of you. Thank you for the laughter my friend!

If time had given us one more day you would have been here and I could have laughed with you one more time. We could have updated the chapters of our lives. I was SO excited you were coming to Mass. Instead I must reminisce in my mind the early chapters of our lives as children visiting every summer, as teenagers when you stayed with us, as young adults when you moved here with Amy and met Carl and had Chad and Kelly. From there our paths took different roads. My heart is broken that we couldn't re-connect and reminisce about days gone by and how we ever survived those times. I take comfort in knowing how much you are loved by all your family and friends. You deserved it. You showed us all how to keep going with laughter and sarcasim when life throws rocks in your path. Rest easy, Brenda, you gave your family the gift of strength to see them through.
