Brenda Gail Graybeal, age 69, and Robert “Bobby” Taylor Graybeal, Jr., age 66, of Rising Sun, MD, both passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Brenda was born on October 16, 1952 in Baltimore, MD to the late Robert Palmer and Virona (Callahan) Palmer. Robert was born on July 26, 1955 in Bloomfield, IA to Agnes Anne (Hainline) Graybeal and the late Robert Taylor Graybeal, Sr.
Brenda and Bobby were both members of Conowingo Baptist Church for many years. They built their home on Palmer Lane, which was known as “The Hill” where Brenda and Bobby spent many days entertaining family and friends. Brenda loved gardening, reading, and taking scenic road trips with Bobby. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing every chance that he got. As an accomplished barber, Bobby loved cutting hair for his family and close friends. He took great joy in cooking and was always known for his crab soup.
Brenda and Bobby are survived by their two sons: Larry Tant, II and his wife, Myra of Wilmington, DE and Robert Graybeal, III and his wife, Nikki of Rising Sun, MD; daughter, Kristin M. Sprout and her husband, Brandon of Benson, NC; ten grandchildren: Layne, Bryce, Alissa, Bobby, Brooklynn, Ellasyn, Grayson, Audrey, Donae, and Calia; and German Shepherd, Abbey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brenda is also survived by her brother, Robert Doil Palmer and his companion, Lisa of Elkton, MD; three sisters: Rose Taylor and her husband, Mike of Ocean City, MD, Robyn Devonshire and her husband, Terry of Rising Sun, MD, and Melissa Ward and her husband, Tom of Rising Sun, MD; sister-in-law, Florence Palmer of North East, MD. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Palmer.
Bobby is also survived by his mother, Agnes Graybeal of Rising Sun, MD; two brothers: Randy Graybeal and his wife, Patti of Colora, MD, and John Graybeal and his wife, Michelle of Colora, MD; sister, Cheryl Wiggins and husband, Doug of Rising Sun, MD. In addition to his father, Bobby is preceded in death by his life-long friend, Joe Roberts.
