Bonnie Agnes Weller, age 77, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 surrounded by her family in Quarryville, PA. She was born January 2, 1938 in Rising Sun, MD to the late Reese and Agnes Rowland Prewitt.
Bonnie held several jobs throughout her life but was known for her painting and paper hanging business that she owned and operated. She had an extensive doll collection and loved antique furniture and collectibles as well. An accomplished quilter, she created some beautiful works that will be treasured by her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Russell and husband, Richard, of North East, MD, Denise Landis, and husband, James, of Arrington, TN, and Wendy Cunningham, and fiancé’, Bill Harmon, of Quarryville, PA; two brothers, Herb and Shorty; five sisters, Carolyn, Betty, Bernice, Mary and Pauline; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Ruby.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Boulden Chapel Cemetery, 377 Nottingham Road, Elkton, MD 21911. To send condolences visit www.rtfoard.com.
