Audrey Melissa Osborne, 80, of Rising Sun, MD went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 10, 2015.
Born November 25, 1934 in Whiteford, MD, Audrey was the daughter of the late Robert Edward and Elsie Mae (Bullen) Lloyd. She was a long-time member of Pleasant View Baptist Church where she participated in many activities for the church. Audrey loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to entertain people, and many said that she “left a legacy of laughter”.
She is survived by her two sons: Jonathan Osborne and his wife, Susan of Rising Sun, MD and Dr. Robert Edwards and his wife, Toni of Pittsburgh, PA; a daughter, Cheryl Webb of Rising Sun, MD; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Dean Lloyd of Fawn Grove, PA; and sister, Mary Kerr of Cardiff, MD. Including her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband, John H. Osborne; 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens in Havre de Grace, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution checks may be made payable to “Pleasant View Baptist Church” and sent in care of the funeral home.
