Armando Peter D’Angeli, age 72, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2026. Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania on July 23, 1953, he was the beloved son of the late Peter Armando D’Angeli and Isabel (nee Silcox) D’Angeli, and the devoted husband of 50 years to Linda V. (nee Tegethoff) D’Angeli.
Armando was a hardworking man who took great pride in building D’Angeli Hauling Truck Company from the ground up. Through dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering work ethic, he created a successful business that reflected his strong character and commitment to providing for his family. He was known as a true “do-it-yourselfer,” always willing and able to fix anything for anyone, never hesitating to lend a helping hand.
Outside of work, Armando found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved being on the water boating, fishing, and crabbing, and took great pride in maintaining his yard and vegetable garden. His hot peppers were a particular favorite and a testament to his patience and care. Armando was also known for his sense of humor—always a jokester with a quick smile—bringing laughter and light wherever he went.
Above all else, Armando cherished his family and the life he built with them. He adored his beloved Dachshunds, Annie and Eva, who were constant companions and a source of joy. His warmth, generosity, and happy spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Armando was preceded in death by his brother, Peter Anthony D’Angeli.
