Alice L. Parsons, 84, of Oxford, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home on December 16,2022.  She was born on November 19, 1938 in Pennsylvania to the late Oscar Broomell and Ellen (Meadows) Broomell.

Alice was raised in Rising Sun, Maryland.  She was a Nanny and housekeeper for many years.  She also hauled the Amish community for years in which she became very good friends with.  Some of her hobbies included working with her flowers, reading, embroidering, quilting and cooking.

In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kara McCarthy and two brothers, Samuel Broomell and Harvey Meadows, Jr.

She is survived by her son Larry Prewitt (Denise) and daughter, Dawn Prewitt Orr (Jeff).  Granddaughter, Candice Prewitt and two great grandchildren, Brooke McCarthy and Alexis McCarthy.  Brothers, Richard Meadows, Joe Meadows and Denny Meadows. Sister, Marry Ellen Greenleaf.

Interment will be private.
